Curriculum: Individual piano lessons, theory of music and solfeggio lessons. Listening and discussing about music performance, elementary history of music.

Candidate profile: Open for all ages. No previous music background needed.
Lessons span: Each lesson is 60 minutes, on a weekly basis, and in coordinate with the candidate.
Price: 1.500 MKD per lesson or 6.000 MKD monthly
Condition for enrolment: Just love for piano and music. Minors apply with parent/tutor. Music scores are in candidate`s possession.
Mentor: Petar Makarievski MM- pianist, piano and chamber music professor, collaborative pianist.
Deadline: There is no deadline. Lessons are open throughout the year, and set in mutual agreement with the mentor.

Briefly about piano lessons:
“Petar`s Piano Room” is open music studio for private piano, theory of music and solfeggio lessons. Each private lesson is 60 minutes, once a week (if needed the candidate can apply for two lessons a week), and no age limit.
You will be thought how to overcome the technical issues, learning new repertoire, solfeggio, theory of music, and elementary history of music.
Mutually we will choose your repertoire-varying from the classical repertoire, world music, movie tunes, and candidates personal choice.
Candidates will be strongly encouraged into listening and debating about her/his interpretation and performing.
All candidates will be publicly performing their pieces in two concerts.
Advanced candidates will be encouraged to give their own recitals in public.
Instructor: Petar Makarievski MM
Petar Makarievski earned Bachelor degree in piano performance in Skopje, Macedonia in prof. Jasminka Cakar`s class. From 2001- 2003 he attended and graduated in MM degree in Sofia, Bulgaria supervised by prof. Anton Dikov. The period of 2011- 2014 Makarievski lived and worked in Atlanta, USA graduating in second MM degree. He worked as an assistant at Georgia State University in Dr. Sergio Gallo class, teaching piano, theory of music and solfeggio, and part-time collaborative pianist at Georgia State University. During his stay in Atlanta, Makarievski performed many solo and chamber music concerts, and as a soloist with several orchestras in Atlanta.
He participated in master-classes held by Cristopher O`Riley (USA); Alberto Urroz (Spain); Nicholas Roth (USA). Makarievski performs solo and chamber music in Macedonia, and as a soloist with Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra. He has been a jury member, and an official piano accompanist at several International competitions.
At the moment Makarievski works as a collaborative pianist at the State Music and Ballet School in Skopje, Macedonia.
