The consructive workshop has resulted with the booklet which presents the guidliness for the establishment of the structural support model for the independent cultural orgaizations in Macedonia. The bookle is available in hard copy on Macedonain and English and in digital format in Macedonain, Albanian and English.

13th January 2010, first session includes analyses of the current situation in the culture in Macedonia from all perspectives; central and local level, cooperation of the publicly supported organizations and independent organizations. Focus on the cooperation with the independent cultural organization (financing their activities, partnership, public – private partnership, different experiences).

First part of presents the different perspectives; central government; local government; public cultura institutions; indent cultural scene. There is a genuine necessity to make elaborate the current situation and to set higher goals which will result with mutual effectiveness and better results. New forms of functioning should provide better functioning of cultural sector and increased cooperation on local, national and international levels.

Second part is reserved for presentation of the Dutch model of structural support on the locaal and national level. From the different perspectives the relations between the institutions on the different level will be presented. Focus will be put on: the different experinces, financial instruments and their systematic implementation; utilization of the resources, cooperation private – public institutions.

14th January 2010, second session is consisted of developing an independent model for structural support in Macedonia, which will be suitd the existing conditions on the local and national level.In a mixed working groups the participants from na central government, local governement and independent cultural sector will work together. The developed models will be elaborated in details in front of the other groups. The final results of the workshop will be published in the booklet, which will serve as guidelines for structural changes on local and national level.

OBJECTIVES

• Increasing the capacities of the cultural sector in Macedonia throughout presentation of contemporary functional model for structural support.
• Stimulate the creation of domestic model for structural financing build on expertise in countries where the structural support is not a novelty.
• Pinpoint the guidelines for the creation of a domestic model for structural financing in Macedonia on the national and local level.
