MASTER CLASS by André Schreuders
 LOW BUDGET PRODUCTION - producing and distributing

André Schreuders (1967), filmmaker and producer from Netherlands, mostly famous for his short films.  Films from Schreuders have very different style and content, but they are part of the same vision on life and art; the astonishing reality as starting point, the poetic glance as way to understand and the imperfectness as the highest point of perfection in the art and life. His film “Light” was one of the 7 short films that were selected in Cannes 2010 'Quinzaine des Realisateurs' (the Directors' Fortnight).

André Schreuders is invited to do film residence in Skopje in 2012, making a research, filming etc. For successful realization of his final goal - making a film, he is dependent of cooperation with the film sector in Macedonia. All producers, filmmakers, scriptwriters, editors and actors are welcome to introduce themselves.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND THE FIGHT AGAINST IT – Presentation of the results of the film workshop

Presentation of the results of the project “Domestic violence and the fight against it” – Utrecht, Netherland, with participants from Macedonia, Netherland, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Albania and Bulgaria. Macedonian participants were Sinolicka Trpkova as mentor and the young actors: Ana Kafkaleska, Marija Bejkova, Slagjana Vujosevikj, Aleksandar Stepanuleski, Nikola Nastoski and Gazmend Izairi.

He is an old man who lives a solitary life in a secluded house in Ireland. She is radical and uncompromising. He is wise and ironic. Their simple life follows the cycle of days and nights, work and rest but slowly brings the two of them closer to each other. Who will be the first one to break the deal and admit the personal interest?
